I’ve begun work on a new venture and I finally finished my new layout…
I’m not sure I could be more excited about my new undertaking over at For the Love of Pages. I’ll be the first to admit it: I covet and hoard books. I buy books in anticipation of reading them, I fill my Wishlist for Christmas, I even raid the book collections of former teachers at garage sales. I love books and I could spend all day waxing rhapsodic about the smell of pages and the way the sound drowns out as you flip through it.
But… things got a little out of control. I find myself with a to-read list as long as my arm and an ever decreasing amount of time in which to eat away at said list.
So, I did what any Type-A writer and geek would do. I made a long list, I scanned barcodes and I started a blog. I’m just getting started, and it promises to be entertaining.
For someone.
But probably not me.
Oh–and there’s this little matter of the new layout to discuss. The new digs were created in a flurry of frustration over my website and what to do with it. I’m editing, I’m trying to read more frequently and there are people in my household that insist on clean laundry. Some of those people–one of those people–is very small and quite demanding. So, in order to prevent frustration for everyone involved, I’m changing the direction of the site and moving my main blog over to Pages. Occasionally, I’ll still post here, but the main (and did I mention entertaining?) reads are over at the new place.
So, click around, visit the new blog and feel free to join in on the discussions. If we get enough adversaries participants, there might even be cake and punch.
